Delete your account
GlobalTrade Mail has no accounts of its own: you sign in with your company's ERP user and open the company mailbox your company assigned to you. That is why "deleting the account" in the app means disconnecting the mailbox and signing out. The mailbox and the ERP user belong to your company and are managed by its administrator.
In the app
- Open GlobalTrade Mail and sign in.
- Go to Settings (gear icon).
- At the bottom of the screen tap Delete my account from the app.
- Confirm with Disconnect and sign out. The app disconnects the mailbox and signs out on this phone.
You can also do it in two steps: Settings → Account → Disconnect (confirm) and then Settings → Sign out.
Without the app
The support email is not configured yet; use the in-app option or ask your company's administrator.
To close the mailbox or your ERP user, ask your company's ERP administrator: only they can do it.
What is deleted
- On the ERP server: the mailbox password stored when it was linked is removed (the ERP can no longer open your mail until someone links it again) and this phone's notification token is deleted, so alerts stop.
- On the phone: all stored mail (headers, opened messages, cached attachments, searches), drafts and unsent mail, and the access saved for Face ID / fingerprint are erased. The app returns to the sign-in screen.
What your company keeps
- The mail stays on your company's mail server: disconnecting the mailbox does not delete any message, sent or received. The same applies to the signature, templates, scheduled sends and reminders stored in the ERP.
- Your ERP user still exists and you can sign in again on the web version or in the app. Closing it is your company administrator's decision and task.
- The ERP's technical sign-in log (date, user, IP) is kept according to your company's policies.
